See Your Worth

Life is a kind of existence, existence itself is valuable, and life itself is meaningful. The meaning of life lies in progress and dedication, in continuously improving the realm of life, improving the system, improving the mind, and at the same time doing our best to serve society, to help others achieve the transcendence of life, and to also achieve our own life value. Life has value as a process. Life's long river is reflected in this process. It is only by the existence of value in life that life's long river is composed and expressed. Adding value to one's life is both about continuing the long river of life and demonstrating its full extent.

It's only a spring when the vegetation grows and then withers, and a whole life is only fleeting. There is nothing more miraculous than life. Even if we exist for a short time, we should enjoy our lives, see and listen to the world around us, think and feel about it, and try our best to embrace life.

Every life can emit its light and function if you recognize your own value, as demonstrated in a fable.

The mouse fell into a bucket one day, unable to find a way out. Nobody could hear the mouse squeak or wailing. It hit the mouse that he might be buried in this bucket. A mouse was hung out by its nose by an elephant who walked by the barrel right at this moment.

Thanks for saving my life, elephant. I hope I am able to repay you."

In return, the elephant smiled and asked, "How am I supposed to reward you?".

An elephant was unfortunately caught by the hunter after some days. The hunter tied up the elephant with a rope, ready to wait for dawn to be transported away. The elephant lay sad on the ground, no matter how hard he struggled, he couldn't break the rope.

A small mouse appeared suddenly. Eventually, before dawn, it broke the rope and loosen the elephant's tie.

Gratitude gushed from the elephant as he said, "You saved my life! I really appreciate it!".

There are moments of brilliance in every life. An elephant that is many times its size can be saved by a small mouse. In the story, the mouse represents what Master Hsing Yun called a person of value, a person of true value. The person is still on the journey of his life even if others cannot see him. Plant seeds of wisdom around the world, lieutenant.

There is a saying: "You may grab a knife edge, or a knife handle, when fate throws a knife at you. If you choose to grab the knife edge, the knife will cut you, or even tear you. " You die; but if you grab the handle of the knife, you can use it to split a road of your own. Therefore, when encountering a major obstacle to fate, you have to grasp its handle. In other words, you have to evaluate yourself honestly and don't be intimidated by the difficulties in front of you. Master Hsing Yun said: “We should constantly measure and evaluate ourselves to see how much we can achieve and how much we can do. We don’t have to have reservations or scruples, as long as we objectively evaluate ourselves, and enjoy ourselves. Play yourself."

Values inherent in human beings are like infinite reserves and infinite value, waiting for development. Buddha has granted everyone the same ability. It is a universal truth that each of us possesses a gold mine of potential. And once we begin using it, it is the same as turning on the light switch, instantly in a certain area of confidence in our heart, producing unexpected results. We have not yet developed our own value, so we cannot succeed. Anyone, as long as they play enough value, can achieve earth-shaking great achievements, and can reach the pinnacle of life.
